HOW DO I RESERVE A SESSION DATE?
LIFESTYLE PACKAGES: a non-refundable session retainer of $25 is required to book your session date and also serves as a cancellation fee.
The remaining balance is due on or before the scheduled session. Editing will not begin until remaining package balance is paid in full.
WEDDING PACKAGES: a 20% non-refundable retainer is due upon booking to secure your event date and also serves as a cancellation fee.
The remaining balance can be broken up into multiple payments if needed. But, the full balance needs to be paid at least 72 hours before the scheduled event date.

WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY IMAGES?
LIFESTYLE SESSIONS: a sneak peak will be delivered within 3 business days of the shoot. (2 images)
Final edits will be delivered via online gallery within 3 weeks of the session date.
WEDDINGS: a sneak peek will be delivered within 7 business days of the event date. (5 images)
Final edits will be delivered via online gallery within 5-6 weeks. A USB drive will be mailed within the same time frame.
I understand this is a little longer turn around time than other sessions. This is simply because wedding clients receive more images so editing takes significantly longer.
USAGE RIGHTS vs. COPYRIGHTS ?
I paid for the photos, so I should own the copyrights...right?
Not exactly...
Copyright is the exclusive legal right, given to an individual to edit, print, sell, publish, distribute, etc. As soon as a photographer clicks the shutter on a camera, they automatically own the copyright to that image.
Unless you have written permission from the photographer, you cannot create derivative works from the photographs. In other words, you can't edit the photos or claim credit for them. Just because you purchased a service, does not mean that you have purchased the copyright.
USAGE RIGHTS: When a client purchases a photography session they are granted personal usage rights to the photographs. Usage rights are rights granted to an individual by an artist to use something for a specific purpose and for a particular period of time.
For example, I grant personal usage rights to my clients to print photos, share on social media, create products such as cards, invitations etc.. Pretty much anything that falls under the "personal usage" category.
This does NOT include commercial and/or business usage rights.
Business and/or commercial usage rights can be purchased at an additional cost.
DO YOU CHARGE TRAVEL FEES?
I will travel up to two hours from Carlise, PA.
Travel fees will apply for any travel over 30 minutes from Carlisle, PA.
However, travel fees are very reasonable and are just enough to cover fuel cost.
CANCELLATION POLICY
In the event of a cancellation by client retainer fee can be credited toward a future session ONLY if client reschedules AT LEAST 48 hours before the scheduled session time.
If notice of cancellation is not given to photographer before the 48 hour window, retainer will be forfeited.
DO I HAVE TO ORDER PRINTS THROUGH YOU?
No! Once your online gallery is available for download you may have your images printed wherever you prefer.
However, if you want to print your images I HIGHLY recommended that you order directly through my website or from Millers Print Lab.
Having you images printed from Walmart, CVS etc.. may result in lower quality images due to lack of calibration of their print machines. I am not responsible for substandard prints and products ordered from non-recommended print labs.
HOW MANY IMAGES WILL I RECEIVE?
The amount of images you recieve depends on the package you selected at time of booking. Please view investment page for specific number of images included in each package.
I will choose the BEST images of the bunch to rough edit. After rough editing is completed client will be able to choose their favorite images from a watermarked gallery. I will then complete the final edits of client selected images (touching up blemishes etc..) before delivering the final gallery.
Additional images are available for purchase at $10 per image.
Example: If your purchased package includes 15 images but you absolutely love 20 images then you can purchase the additional 5 images for $10 per image ($50)
I would love nothing more than to give my clients ever single photo I capture but unfortunately editing takes a significant amount of time. So, in order to keep my session cost affordable I do have to limit the amount of image included in each package.
I spend a lot of time sorting through your session's images and editing the ones that look the best.
I do not release unedited images to clients, ever.
